Prodeko Activity Fund (PTER)
PTER (Prodekolaistoiminnan edistämisrahasto) is a sum set aside in the guild’s budget every year to support Prodeko members’ projects, events, purchases and other activity in all its forms. You can apply for PTER money to organise an event for guild members, to buy something the guild room is missing, or to suggest a magazine the guild should subscribe to, for example.
The PTER app shows how much of this year’s PTER money has been spent and reserved, and what it has been granted for.
Applying for PTER money
- Sign in at pter.prodeko.org with your Prodeko membership account and propose an idea. Say what the money is for and why, how much you are applying for, and add a link to the product or any other relevant details.
- Other members can vote on and comment on your idea. The board sees the votes and comments.
- The board handles the idea at a meeting. It may ask you for more details, and you hear about the decision in the app or by email.
- If the idea is approved, make the purchase or carry out the project or event as proposed, and claim the costs back through Prodeko’s expense claim form with PTER-raha as the allocation. Great!
Without your name
If you would rather other members did not see your name, leave “Show my name on the idea” unticked when you propose it. Other members then see “Anonymous” in its place. The board always sees your name, so it can get in touch with you.
If others are needed to carry it out
If you cannot or would rather not carry out your idea alone, and it would be done together with the board or other Prodeko officials, we agree on the arrangements with you separately once it is approved.
In these cases, note that carrying out the idea also takes the board’s time, which may affect whether it is approved.
